For all those interested in the family tree , Some snippets , John Morrow 1795 Low Felling Durham England , emigrated to Nova Scotia with promise of job , on voyage met John Duffus , a fellow clerk , met his sister , in time married , her sister married Samuel Cunard , after two years joined his brother-in-laws firm as Chief clerk ,. later years , took up position Consul for the U S A , 1833 , 1840 , new law enforced , only Americans can hold this post , . John was self employed , then came back to England to work in the offices of John Stephenson , railway contractor , 1849 ret to Nova Scotia to work in offices of Canadian Railways . Died , 1862 .

One of his grandsons James Bain Morrow , clerk with the Cunards , became a partner .

One of his grandsons , William Grant Stairs , 1863 - 1892 , was second in command of the expedition with Stanley , finding Dr Livingstone .

John Morrow had a younger bro , Robert , 1800 - 1867 , who also emigrated to Nova Scotia , worked as principal clerk to Samuel Cunards brother , in Brunswick , Nova Scotia .
Helped to save and finance build first church , for Rev Pickles . Also a volunteer in first fire brigade .
Returned to England , Liverpool , to start up him-self , MORROW then MORROW and SON then MORROW - SON and GARBUTT ,.
