The CHASE book says that Moses CHASE of Parsonfield, Maine married Polly BLANCHARD but the Moses CHASE that I am trying to identify married Rebecca FAIRBANKS in Lancaster, MA where the birth record does state that he was from Maine. Rebecca CHASE HATCH their daughter was born in Parsonfield, Maine, which makes that the likely home of Moses CHASE. The 1810 census lists only two heads of households named Moses CHASE, one is likely Moses Sr and the other Moses Jr. By then Moses Sr should have been 66 years old and Moses Jr 41 years old. Rebecca CHASE would have been 17.
