Need information on my paternal great grandfather ALFRED GEORGE SAUNDERS

Query by Judiann711

I'm looking for info on my paternal great grandparents. ALFRED GEORGE SAUNDERS & LOUISA PINNICK SAUNDERS. After the death of his parents their son, Alfred Robert Saunders, emigrated to the United States (New York) at the age of 12. His date of birth is May 1876. He traveled to this country with his aunt Emma. I'd like to know more about Alfred George & Louisa.

Hi,

Below is the baptism information for Alfred Robert Saunders. There is an original image that has extra info that I have included in brackets.
(family shown as living at High Hill Ferry)
Name: Alfred Robert Saunders
Record Type: Baptism
Estimated Birth Date: abt 1878 (7 May 1876)
Baptism Date: 15 Nov 1878
Father's Name: Alfred George Saunders (occupation Pawn Broker)
Mother's Name: Louisa Saunders
Parish or Poor Law Union: Upper Clapton St Matthew
Borough: Hackney
Register Type: Parish Registers

I have traced both Alfred George Saunders and Louisa Pinnick through the census and found marriage and death records. Is that the information you would like or was you looking for someone with a connection to the family. I only ask as it seems you do have some info on them and didn't want to double up on the info you already have.

Thank you so much Shelly! You've definitely given me more information than I already had. I would also be able to connect with a family member at some point but I'm always grateful for whatever new info I could get.

Thanks again,

Judy Saunders
