I have the Danero book, which is the original name for the NEICH family. my late friend George Neich (Junior) went over for a reunion of the family some years back, and I asked he bring back a copy of the book which was written, I can put folk in touch with the author of the well researched book in Australia. George's parents were George and Laura Neich. Cecil Richard Hutchinson Neich is on page 268 of this book which is now in front of me.. Cecil was listed as a Carriage builder. When I was over in Sydney in 2006, I saw the Neich's Parade there, as I live next door to George Neich's home here at Clareville, in Neich's Lane. George Senior and Junior were into horses.. I googled Neich earlier, and found one of the Neich family .. Roger who was at Auckland Museum died a couple of years back, wonder if that was a son of Cecil? In the meantime, I will email the author of this book, see where Cecil died and when.

PS. There is a SUSAN NEICH dying in NZ in 1940. its on the BDMS Historical site on line.. also there is George Sen and son Gregory who was only 15 years old Clareville ones. No idea where Cecil is buried tried NZ up to 1940. But have emailed Author of book in Orange.

SUSAN and CECIL NEICH are buried at Taita Cemetery. Hutt Valley. he died 1954 and she 1940. When the weather improves I could go and find the graves if needed, its over the hill from me, I am in Wairarapa. Have the details now... NEICH!

Thank you for your reply, I am not connected to the Neich family, my husband is related to the Cupitt family, I came across the Neich family on Ancestry, I suppose curiosity got the better of me, so I started to check them out. I did find Susan, George & Gregory on the NZ BDMs.

am sure CUPITT is in this Danero book.. will check it out later.. I am working on GOLLA which is connected to Neich of Clareville where I am.. enquiry from Canada.. I am always curious with names, its so interesting, neither am I related! Another NZ family connected is NOAKES with NEICH.

I have a good memory, as after reading CUPITT today, I thought about it, as heard off it previously, and found it from a Meredith CUPITT a few years back...she is in NZ any relation? but she was after another name when she contacted me here at Clareville. thank you

I have a NEICH family on my larger MCLACHLAN tree in New Zealand. Would love it if you knew where any of these are - I haven't found any others apart from those you have listed here. Jim NEICH married Diane Kathleen HUTTON(b1954) and they had 2 children Simone and Christopher. I will keep my eyes open on my searching for this family.

there was another Neich family, Roger up north I believe but he died suddenly used to be in touch with him. am not sure if I have been in touch with your before, but live at Clareville where the Neich were and live next to their old property!
