The funeral of the late Mrs. Henrietta Nowitzke, which moved from the residence of her son, Mr. Emil Nowitzke,(Granville), yesterday morning, was largely attended 'by relatives and friends of the deceased, who is survived by a daughter (Mrs.Dau,

I think Gerry hit the nail on the head.
If Heinrich voted in Queensland in 1895 it means he received his Australian Citizenship. My next step would be to try and obtain his Naturalisation papers. Details should include place and date of birth, parents names and when he arrived in Australia. I expect his wife also received her Australian Citizenship and her Naturalisation papers should also give you her vital details.
