We started a family tree about 10yrs ago and then gave up. we got to about our great,great grandfater. My father's name was Bidal Zavala. Our ancestors crossed into use at Eagle Pass, Tx. Most of them stayed in that area and Crystal City and Corrizo Springs. Will welcome any info. thanks.

LdZabala on 2012-12-18 11:39:07Yes my dad is Bidal Zavala born on 27 april 1910. his dad my grandfather was Ponciano Zavala. And yes they did cross into maverick county at eagle pass. I have been to Corizzo Springs and Crystal City in Maverick and Zavala counties. About 50% of the phone book listings is Zavala's.We started a family tree about 8years but I can't find all my findings. they were on paper.
