Parents of CHARLES FRANKLIN DEAL of Winatchee WA

Journal by twobanjonuts

Charles built a cement brick house with copper water storage in the attic. (1910+/-?) My Grandfather Elmer Franklin Deal ((b-1906-D Dec 2000) is the youngest son of five (7?) children. I know of Fanny and Violet, older sisters. The rest were out of the house. Charles and wife Vada (Stif) in the 1918 influenza epidemic in Berkeley, CA.

Elmer made his way to Alhambra CA, and worked in the oil fields of Signal Hill, Long Beach, CA. Elmer had the family bible, and it was lost in a fire where he rented a room.

We are trying to piece the family legacy together.
