Written at New Town, Hobart Town, November 14, 1859
PATRICK SEXTON, a paid emigrant, native place County of Clare, Ireland, left home in March, 1855, arrived in Sydney in July following, lived eighteen months with his sister Mrs Robert McPHERSON, who kept the Retreat Hotel, South Geelong; left there and arrived here on the 22nd of April last, where he met his uncle Patrick Sexton, formerly at New Town, Hobart Town, Van Diemen's Land; sailed from here on the 12th of May last in the brig Reliance, Capt. James Smith, bound for Lyttelton, New Zealand. Should this come under his notice, he is requested to write at once to his uncle, Patrick Sexton, of New Town, Hobart Toiwn, and he may hear of something to his advantage His brother-in-law, Mr McPherson, died on the 19th May last.
Description:- Age 26 years, height 5ft 5inches, dark complexion, stout in body, and a sober man.
