Hi Karen the only info we have is her father was Thomas on her death certificate in Browns Creek NSW Aust 1861 12th March. bc 28 July 1803. I have put the query to the family and may come back with more.

I will add a further comment that there are a couple of Family Trees on Ancestry, that have her parents as William Gates, and her dying in England.
The only other possibility is that she was married twice. - But I Don't think so.
The people who have put these trees on also have St Alkmunds spelt incorrectly.
