Jane was born in Avoca in 1860.

Jonathan Reed b 17.1.1831 in Lostwithiel had a son who was Frank Thornton Reed and whilst there can be no 100% truths I hold Frank's family bible where the entry is that Jennie Reed b 4.8.1860, m James Tonkin and had two daughters Mary and Lizzie. But really I am seeking any photographs, info of any of Jonathan Reed's family.

But I can tell you I have searched all the marriage records for Australia and have not located a marriage record for James TONKIN and Jane REED.
I have also searched the birth and death records again and could not find any children for James and Jane.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying the information recorded in Frank's Family Bible is wrong, and simply saying no records can be located to confirm this information.
John Snell TONKIN and Jane REED had three daughters and two sons, so it may be a different couple.
If anyone has a copy of the marriage certificate for this John and Jane could they please let me know the names of the parents recorded for Jane REED. This will help sort things out.
