Hi tonkin, I am George Henry Perrin's granddaughter and I am organising a Perrin family reunion in Deniliquin NSW on 9th March 2011. I live in Victoria.(By the way it is John Orlando not Orlander.)I have heaps of info on these Perrins but some gaping holes as well.
Greetings Stroudperrin - and welcome to FamilyTreeCircles.
To start with I'm not connected to this PERRIN line, but I did do a spot of research on this family while researching the PERRIN lines in Victoria. I have researched thousands of families in Victoria over the past thirty odd years for myself and other people and I don't think there are many names I do not know. This PERRIN post, like a few more I have on FTC, is intended to give other people a "kick start" with their family research.
I did have a PERRIN line go to N.S.W. many years ago, but what become of them I do not know.
If you would like to let me know about your "gaping holes" on your PERRIN line I will try and help if I can.
And thank you for the correction about John's second given name. Funny how the spelling of names keep changing. Not recorded correctly to start with in most cases.
Good luck with the PERRIN reunion.
Mary Anne Perrin (nee Jones)died in Deniliquin, NSW, Aust. Her headstone was featured in a "Cemetery Walk" in 2010. Family living in Deniliquin spent many hours restoring this "now beautiful" headstone and grave area. Her name on the headstone is MARIANNE ROBERTS.
Thank you Stroudperrin.
Now I know why I could not find Mary's death. She remarried.
Hope the Perrin Family Reunion went well.
