Peter Fenton 1785 and Frances Emmerson 1797 - Durham, England

I'm seeking information on Peter Fenton (c1785 - Dec 1849) and his wife Frances Emmerson (c1797). They married at St Nicholas, Boldon, Durham, England on 20th July 1828.
Known children were John (c1831), Robert (1832 - Oct 1836), Elizabeth (1837), Robert (28/1/1840 - 20/2/1925) and Peter (17/6/1843).
I would like to hear from anyone researching this family. In particular I am looking for birth / baptism detail of Peter and Frances, date of death for Frances. I am also seeking information on the parents of both Peter and Frances.

allycat on 2008-02-04 01:38:54Dear Diane, Hi. You can find out more yourself on your FENTON family by going to RootsChat. Got to their England boards (Durham) and post a Census Lookup Request and/or Parish Baptism lookup. You are bound to obtain more info.
And the genforums are a great way of getting in contact with living descendants of the same set of ancestors!

essexclark on 2008-05-19 18:17:31I had forgotten that I had registered on this site. I just found it again by accident. Thanks for the suggestions for finding more information on my Fenton family.
I think I may have found the Death for Frances Fenton nee Emmerson on FreeBMD Jul-Sep qtr 1877 South Shields, Durham Vol 10a Pg 3_8. Only problem is the age is a bit young by about 10yrs. Could still be her though.
