I had the hardest time trying to figure out how my grandmother Maggie Marguerite (surname)verdin came to be a verdin. Seems my great grandmother Maggie Margerite Picou/Verdin (surname) Sennette was married twice. Once to Robert Picou and Once to Prosper Verdin. So its possible that I am not from the picou line but from the verdin line. Because my grandmothers surname was verdin, and when I checked census half the children in both households have picou and the other have are verdins.
Now I am tring to find the death records and or divorced records on the two husbands. Any help will be greatly apprieciated. Oh also sennette line comes from Barthelany Sennette and Aspesia frelo and my dad confirmed frelo as my great great great grandmother.
