question on nee ann squires

my family line goes back to nee ann squires from England. she married William jaffray and he was born in Edinburgh Scotland. they migrated to Canada and he was a jeweler and they had 6 children. this was about the last 1800s. I don't have any information on ms squires and I don't know when she ws born or was married or died or what her family did. just needing info.

There is not enough data here to work with.

Can you put an approx date of birth for both William and Ann ?
Where did they live in Canada ?
Any childrens names, bmd, place of birth.

William JAFFRAY was born in Scotland 22 June 1840
- he married Sarah Ann SQUIRES 28 July 1874

at least some of their children were born in Provanside, Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland before they moved to Montreal, Quebec

well I did not know the birth of them. and how did you get sarah ann squires? was nee just a given name that was her real name and nee ann was just a name that was her common name. im confused on that.where did you get your information?

her childrens names were Philip who died in infancy, William, Emily, eliza joss, which was my great grandmother, Margaret, and richard

'nee ann squires' This refers to her maiden name. It is normally written:

Ann Jaffray (nee Squires)
