Reeder/Kamp - Pennsylvania
I am researching the REEDER's of eastern PA in the hope of learning where my GGGGGgrandfather was born. John William REEDER we believe was born abt 1775, PA. We know that he arrived in Greenup Co., KY in 1816.
John W. REEDER, b: Mar 13, 1829, Greenup Co., KY d: Apr 12, 1915, Buchanan Co., MO stated his father John REEDER, Sr. was b: PA, his mother's name was Nancy KAMP, also believed born in PA. Census information indicates John Sr. b: abt 1775. His eldest three children were born VA, 1805, 1810, 1811. It is believed John Sr. had a brother named Simon. Research leads us to believe REEDER/KAMP families were in Northumberland, Berks or Bucks Counties.
I am also searching for any information concerning the lineage of Nancy Kamp as well.

I'm a g.g. Grandson of John William Reeder of Greenup, Ky. Not sure if Nancy Kemp is an another wife or a mistake. We have Rachel Chitty as his wife.

Pennsylvania, United States wife is Nancy Kemp. Again, He is my G.G.G.G. Grandfather
We have her as Nancy Kamp. Not sure if that is correct or not. We can find no records for them before they arrived in Greenup County Kentucky. Do you have any information?
No confirmation if that is solid proof. I know others have added her to be his wife. I cannot find any info on her. As I gave my link to my lineage, if you able to view it. if now, I will show my lineage to them. John William Reeder is your fourth great grandfather.

I still working on that part of my family roots. I just got done with the Woodruff lineage. I cant understand how ppl love to trace generation to generation. heh I get bored and tired after a while of the same last name. This Family name of Woodruff goes back to the 1200 century. I like to state that its the last time I have to do any more work on that name but that would be a false statement. I have a couple of dozen of Wives have their amazing history. I cannot say how long that will take. For right now, G.G.G.G. Nancy, if she is truly a grandmother is my headache now. If I find anything on "Nancy Kamp" I will be sure to let you know. This is how I had found you, for, I was searching more history on Grandfather J.W.Reeder or Grandmother Nancy. That is how I found your old post. I will get back to what I was searching. Thanks for reaching back.
I will post here again, if anymore pops across my searching. THANK HEAVEN she has a rather rare name. "Kamp" how lucky for us. There has to be something posted about this lady.
