there was a family from exeter that came to new zealand in the early 1970s and returned a few years later

they came and settled in the bay of plenty nz

Thank you, I will research that, I am really looking for a lot of Norrish's who disappeared after the 1861 cesus, William NORRISH b.1846, Thomas NORRISH b.1849, John NORRISH b 1851, George NORRISH b.1859 and Henry NORRISH b.1861. They were all brothers of my great grandfather Charles NORRISH. They all seem to have vanished into thin air maybe some disaster overcame them betwqeen 1861 and 1871

I am researching Ernest Roy Norrish, died on the 11.8.1979, in Northam W.Australia, I wondered if there is anyone related to him...I would say that they are related, because there are so many of the Norrish in W.Australia....his son is Roger Norrish, lives in W.Australia, in a country town called Corrigin.6375 and that is where I live, would be very interesting to find out a little more about this family. where they come from...England or anywhere else.regards Joan
