My name is Andrew Davis and I have been researching my family lines since I was fourteen with great success in recent years. I am very close to slave owners I just need more info. The farthest I have been able to go was one my father's paternal grandmother's grandfather who's name was Tobe Abrams born about 1824 in S.C. Any info please write me??

I was born a Crawford.
George William Crawford was born in Ireland 1830 and died in Kansas 1887. He married Catherin Grimes of Ohio.
My grate grandfather, their son, David S. Crawford was born in Ohio. Married Susan Angline Caveness (Caviness) who was from Iowa. Her mother was a Hammack from Indiana. David and Susan moved to Kansas where my grandfather Todd and my Dad, Lawrence was born.
Any connections?

Thank you for your response but I can see by your tree that we most likely are not related. I am of African descent. My crawford's are from Virginia. I don't have any family from Kansas that I know of; I will do more research. A paternal 3rd Great-grandmother was maiden named Crawford. Indianna Harden (Crawford) Georgia born 1857. Her mother was Hannah Crawford. They were born into slavery but I haven't come across a 1960 census yet so that what it is for now. But thanks for your response.
