This is the first known, documented account of William Black.
Children are: William b 1818; In Hillisborough, NB:
James L b. 24 Feb. 1824: John Nelson b. 1826
sarah-jane b. 1825: Emily-Charlotte b. 1835 and Isabella b. 1837.
The family is verified by county Census living in PEI 1841, living in Kent County NB until 1861 and Isabella back in Albert County 1881.

There is a family folk lure that William's parents may have been United Empire Loyalists.
