I inherited one of 3 family bibles. One of them is Reuben Early or Earley & wife, Eliza Scribner, who were married August 1829. Their children: Johnan, born 12 Nov 1830; Emma Jane, born 1 Jan 1834; Mary Eliza, born 8 Nov 1836; and William Henry, born 20 Jun 1841. The bible does not provide any additional information and some things like the day of Reuben & Eliza's marriage were lost due to the fragile condition of the bible. I suspect they were from New York state, but I do not have any proof of their origin. Anyone with any additional information about this surname, your help would be gratefully accepted.
