Diane,

I think I had my facts mixed up earlier. I'm at work, and the death certificates are home...I do remember Reis(s) and Liekweg as maiden names of some of the brothers. One brother (forget which one) married one Liekweg sister, she died, and he married her sister.

I tried to copy the DCs to send you an electronic file, but they won't copy. I can send you paper copies and a copy of Elmer Clarence (Jim's Dad) and the other two siblings. My husband and I are going to visit graves Memorial Day, and I wouldn't mind taking some gravestove rubbings if you're intersted.

I know you said Herman Sr. is your great-grandfather--Jim's as well--so, how is he related to you?
