Hi there,
I am not a descendant of Henry Charles Schweicker but I came across his name whilst searching my ancestors, Simpson.
It was a newsarticle and since I am writing my family history in the form of a novel I wanted to learn more about this person for the purpose of creating a description.
Don't suppose you have a pic of him in police uniform.
Did you know he joined the police force on the 13th June 1874 - NSW records.
regards
Margaret
Hi Margaret.
Just picked up your message. Sorry to say I do not have a photo of Henry, in or out of uniform. I will ask a few other family members if they have a photo of him. Should I get lucky will send a copy to you.
Good luck with your novel.
Thanks Tonkin,
I expected the reply to come via email. :(
I imagine you are aware that there are numerous newsarticles on Henry in the NLA site.
