Daniel Dodson was born in either North or South Carolina according to census records in 1816. He died in Iowa in 1889. His wife was Rebecca Justice (Justus)he had six children surviving to adulthood.

My connection to the Dodson family is thru his daughter Martha Ann Dodson Bullard.
