Hi...I'm Lynn from Victoria Australia. Searching for Kirwans from Co Wexford Ireland.
My Great Great Grandparents came to Australia in 1840 on the ship "Theresa". Their names were Patrick and Margaret Kirwan (Kerwin on the passenger list I found and aged 22)and son James, then 15 months old.We have lots of info on the family from when they arrived but not much to go on from back in Ireland.
We do know that James was Baptised on 23rd Feb 1839 in Cloughbawn Co Wexford....but thats it :(
Margarets maiden name was O'Grady.
Can anyone help please ???? :-)
