Searching for my great grandmother`s background(Gruber)

I am writing this time because i am searching for my great grandmother?s background her name is Gruber Chana probably from Poland or Wien.She died in Hungary. I need to know her religious background i believe she was born in Krakkow around 1901. I appreciate any help. Toda Eszter

And there should be a genforum for almost every surname out there. I couldn't tell from your message whether GRUBER or CHANA was the surname.
