HI...I am confused by the name Blankenship as first marriage for our Sarah Kennedy. She md. 1798 in York Co SC and had to be abt 17 0r 18.
Their first child, James was born 16 Mar 1798..same day as their marriage was as given by some.

I have heard a completely different story on the Blankenship part and sure wish someone would produce some proof. It will be greatly appreciated. They both died in Clay CO a year apart...having 12 children. Lewis died from Venereal disease according to the vital stats in Ky.

Hope you are open to this. Randall Sandlin went off to war and was married before he left. He sent a letter home to his wife saying he met someone else and was remarried. Times were different then.
