I left South Africa in 1976 with my 3 children. I am now doing a family tree and need information on their father's ancestors. Fathers full name is Robert Scott SCHOEMAN and lived in or around the Johannesburg area. He had re-married someone by the name of Sue. His siblings are Mary Nellie (spouse Frank), Isabel, William Kent, Frederic (spouse Gloria) and Adolf (spouse Liz).
His father was also Robert Scott SCHOEMAN and his mother was Thora Kathleen (born Barnes). Thora Kathleen b. 1914 d. 1952. Robert Scott then re-married Petronella Jacoba Hertz.
I cannot trace any ancestors on the SCHOEMAN side so would appreciate any information from someone out there.
