My grandmother was Betty Jane Webb born April 1894 in Letcher Cty. Her mother was Mattie Webb. My grandmother on her marriage to Patrick Ringley said that her parents were Mattie Webb and J.J. Webb. I can find no proof of this. Mattie in 1896 she married James A. Garrett. In the 1900 Census there is James, Maty, Lettie, Bettie, Archie and Monroe. Lettie was my grandmothers twin. In 1910 you can't find Mattie, Lettie, or Bettie. And James is married to a Lucinda Mullins and have children. I did find Bettie in the school records and living with her grandmother Nancy (Craft) Webb in 1912. We have been told that Mattie died in 1904 but have no proof. Would like any info.
