Seeking Connolly's from Scotland....

Journal by debbiesams

My mom's maiden name is Teresa (Bridget) Connolly. She came from a very large family in Scotland. She married John Forrester and moved to Canada in the 50's. I am the youngest of her 5 children.

Some of her brother's and sister's names are as follows: (to the best of my knowlege):

Mary, Jessie, Josephine, Benny(d), Sarah, Michael(d), Anne, Margaret, Jack, Sadie.

My mom is in her 70's now, so her surviving siblings would be around the same.

I would love to get in touch with any relatives to connect up to your Canadian branch!

Sincerely, Debbie Samuelson (Forrester)

Hello Debbie
I am also researching the Connolly family from Scotland. My grandfather was born in Dumbarton in 1888. His name was Simon and his father was Martin married to Sarah. My grandfather came to Toronto around 1920 -1921

From your investigation any chance we are related?
Thanks
Martin Connolly
