Ellen Carter was born in Todenham, Gloucs, England about 1869. She later moved to Barrow upon Soar,Shepshed,Loughborough area in North West Leicestershire. It was there were she married John Scaysbrook (born Todenham Gloucs 1869)
I wondered if anyone could tell me the names of Ellens parents, and brothers and sisters.
I have very little History research on Ellen Carter. What I do know is she was my great grandmother, she died in 1928, and that she owned some fairground rides.
Any info would bevery much appreciated

You should be able to find her (and even John Scaysbrook) on the 1871 Census with her parents and/or extended family. Just goto RootsChat - sign up as a new user, it is free, then goto the England boards, Gloucestershire, and post a census lookup request.
Also it might be best to check out the "Traveling People" board at rootschat too - for topics about ancestors, who travelled around the country. Romanies, Gypsies, Tinkers, Travellers, Circus people and the like.
Then when you gather more information, you can trace your ancestors through parish records at the church, baptisms, weddings and burials - rootschatters should be able to help with lookups also. Quite a few old church records are available online. Check the Gloucestershire resources links at rootschat.
