SHARPLES Elizabeth married Enock TONKIN 1750

Looking for information on Elizabeth SHARPLES who died in Cornwall in April 1755/6. I have not been able to locate her birth details or parents to date. She married Enoch TONKIN in 1750 at Sennen, Cornwall, and had three children that I know of.

Baptised: 15 October 1752, St Levan, Cornwall.
Died: -

Mary TONKIN.
Baptised: 01 December 1753, St Levan, Cornwall.
Died: -

Catherine TONKIN.
Baptised: 27 April 1755, St Levan, Cornwall.
Died: 1755.
Buried: 17 November 1755, St Levan, Cornwall.
Another possible daughter is Elizabeth, who died in 1755, but this has not been confirmed.
I also have it Elizabeth died in 1755 while giving birth to Elizabeth, so my source of information giving mother Elizabeth's year of death as 1756 may be an error made by the transcriber at the time.

I also have not been able to find anything about Elizabeth Sharples.
Enoch married Elizabeth Sharples 3rd Dec 1750.
There werefour children although the baptism for the first child Elizabeth has not been found.
Jane d/o Enoch Tonkin bp. 15th Oct 1752 at St Levan
Mary d/o Enoch Tonkin bp. 1st dec 1753 at Sennen.
Catherine d/o Enoch Tonkin bp. 27th Apr 1755 at St Levan.
The following burials at St Levan.
27th Apr 1755 Elizabeth wife of Enoch Tonkin.
17 nov 1755 Catherine d/o Enoch Tonkin.
17th Dec 1755 Elizabeth d/o Enoch Tonkin.
6th May 1756 Mary d/o Enoch Tonkin.
Note that Elizabeth was buried on the same day Catherine was baptised
Then after lots of research and adding 2 and 2 together
Enoch married Constance Jelbard on 26th Oct 1766 at St Levan.

Your spot on with Enoch's second marriage. Past researchers think the Enoch that married SHARPLES and JELBARD are two different Enoch's.
I have a feeling they were looking at the IGI records which can be very misleading ... in more ways than one.
Elizabeth is still a problem for me as well. It could be a second marriage for Elizabeth and SHARPLES may be her previous married name. Something to think about.
