Anyone know of George Skinner b. c1785 who married Janet Shand c.1785. Aberdeen, Scotland.

When & where they married.

I have only one son, John Skinner who was born 13 Feb.1813 in Cluny, Aberdeen & died on 12 Aug. 1888 in Aberdeen at age of 75.
John married Ann Low daughter of James Lowe & Ann Grant on 6 Dec. 1834 in Kincardinshire They had four children: Arthur, James, John & William McIntyre.

Arthur born 26 July 1834 in Duris Kincardine died on 19 Sept 1910 in Dunedin New Zealand at age of 76yrs. He married Jane Grant daughter of James Grant & Jean Reid on 17 May 1860 in Chapel of Garioch, Aberdeen, Scotland.

Wondering what ship Arthur & Jane came out to New Zealand on.

Hi,Tiffaney - I am a great-grandson of Arthur & Jane;living in Palm.North now.I dont have the ship name - but I do have a lot of info. on the family from George & Janet to 2005. Its quite bulkey, & I would have to post!
