I am researching my mother's side of the family. I am looking for more information. I am looking for a John Smith, b. 1761 in Maryland. I have been able to find his marriage to Susannah Maidwell in 1795 but I don't find him again until later living with a son in 1850 census. His line goes: John Smith b.1761 Maryland; William F. Smith b.1822 Kentucky; William Clinton Smith b. 1854 Indiana; Leo Edwin Smith b. 1899 Kansas. There are more children but this is my line my grandfather was Leo, his father William Clinton etc... If anyone can shed any light on any of these or others please contact me.
