Ann Seabright (nee Steel)
- born in Moresby, CUmberland, England to Hodgson Steel & Jane Topping, she married William Seabright (1824-1893) in England & had a son. Emigrated NZ 1860, settled in Christchurch, where he was the Proprietor of the Zetland Arms hotel in Cashel Street. They had 3 more children. William later built the Racecourse Hotel in Upper Riccarton, but died in 1883 whilst it was still being built. He is buried Bromley.
* Ann next married Twentyman Wilson (1837-1921) on 31 Aug 1884 & had a son Harold Twentyman Wilson (1889-1971)
- Twentyman had the Zetland Hotel in Christchurch when he married Ann and got a temporary license to run it
- had the Melville "Melvie" Hotel in Timaru in 1880s
- was a hotelkepper in Christchurch in 1885 when declared bankrupt. They moved to Stratford, Taranaki where they had the Stratford Hotel in 1890's. He was a Steward of the Stratford Racing Club in 1893. They had the Okato Hotel in New Plymouth from R. C. Gray in 1898. Twentyman was declared bankrupt in Nov 1898 and the Okato Hotel license was transferred to John Thomas Diamond.
. 18 Sep 1895 . The death of Mrs Ann Wilson, wife of Mr Twentyman Wilson, of Stratford, occurred yesterday morning. The deceased was a well-known Canterbury lady and with her first husband, Mr G. Seabright, settled in Christchurch many years ago. She was well known as the proprietress of the Rutland Arms Hotel and later as owner of the Racecourse Hotel, which she built at a cost of £13,000. She was a successful breeder of stock, having won several cups at the several local agricultural shows. Until quite recently she was a splendid horsewoman. She married some 12 years ago to Mr Twentyman Wilson and removed to Stratford about four years ago, where, as a popular landlady, she made hosts of friends. Some 12 months ago she developed signs of inward cancer. Her medical attendant recommended her to undergo a critical operation, which was successfully performed six months ago in Christchurch by Dr Townsend, assisted by Drs Prins and Symes. The operation gave her some considerable relief, but on her return home she caught a chill on the journey and never recovered, gradually sinking day after day. She leaves two married daughters, one married son and a youth of about 14 years of age. Her remains will be interred this afternoon in the Stratford Cemetery,
* Twentyman next married Mrs Mary Jane Carter in Christchurch in 1911. He is buried Bromley.
