Stauss, ohio
I am looking for my biological Grandfather's name.
Margaret (Bishop) Stauss (b. about 1908) had two children before her marriage to Norbert Stauss (Rose Hill Cemetery) Warren County, Ohio. Pauline (b. 4/17/1923) married to Charles Calvert, Mason, ohio, Richard (b. 5/10/1924) Cincinnati, Ohio. Richard legally changed his last name to Stauss after returning from the Navy 1945'ish time frame. 1930 census states last name as Eyles but family says Pyle.
Margaret's parents...Joseph and Elizabeth Bishop, Cincinnati, Ohio

This looks like the death of one of Charles and Pauline Calvert's sons. It would suggest that Pauline took the surname Stauss.

Yes, this is the daughter's ( Pauline) son. She had three more children, two I know the name of... Mary Margaret and Timothy born after this son.
Margaret listed the children in school as Stauss also, but Stauss was not their legal last name. Richard's birth certificate had only a last name Pyle. I know he saw his biological father twice, once when he was a child and once when his first child was born. It was stated that (Pyle) died in Ohio City, Ohio in the early 1960's.
