Still looking for Patrick and Mary MCGINTY, 1847 to America.

Journal by kathleenc

They came to the US in 1847, can't find the name of the ship. I thought it was the "Sea Of York", but there is no record of that ship. I've searched through thousands of passenger list names, and can't find them. Anyone who has any info, here's some more on the family:

Patrick MCGINTY- father, b. abt 1810 in Ireland.
Mary MCGINTY- mother, b. abt 1815 in Ireland. Her maiden name was either HANLEY, OR HENDLEY.

Children:

Daniel b. abt. 1832
Dennis b. abt. 1837
Ann b. abt. 1839
Michael b. 1841
Ellen b. abt 1843
Bridget b. abt 1845
Mary b. abt. 1848-The only child born in the US.

I'm also researching Guyton, Cole, McAlister lines. Just starting on the GUINTY, SNODGRASS, PIPER line on my father's line. My ancestors came from England, Ireland, Scotland. They settled in Massachussetts, Kansas, Mississippi, Virginia, North Carolina. I have also been researching the Manning line on my fathers side. The Sanders line is nearly complete, exept the large wall between William Aaron and his ancestors (Thanks to DNA evidence disproving a large part of my work, and the work of others!). Would love to hear from any distant cousins I have out there!
