My name is Leola Rounds Brown and for some years I have been trying to find more information about my family history but I always hit brick wall when I can not get any further than my grandfather. My grandfather was Bill Rounds.as a child I lived in Perry, Georgia with my mom, Cora Rounds. She had four sisters that I knew of and 1 living brother at the time. My mom's sisters were Lizzie Rounds Mosley, Annie Mae Rounds Searcy, Carrie Mae Rounds, Pauline Rounds Lester. Her living brother then was Paul Rounds. I never knew my maternal grandmother and I never can get pass this spot. I am seeking any info on the Rounds family history and where did my family originated. Who was my maternal grand mother?

anafred on 2014-04-11 03:36:27I'm presuming that your grandfather has passed away. It may well be worth getting a copy of his death certificate as this should have the name of his spouse on it (things may be different in America but in New Zealand this is the case)this may well give you a good starting point. It was the only information I had when I started my tree some months back and have gotten 4 generations back this way :). Best of luck with your search.
