One of these people who seems to have left no paper trail and with a common name like Davies in Wales, I have given up! Can you help, please?
John DAVIES (10 Mar 1820 - 4 Nov 1902), who emigrated to NZ in 1841 from Llanelli, Wales. He married Amelia Ann Newth on 1 Jan 1847. He died age 82 in Dovedale, Nelson, NZ . Buried: Dovedale, Nelson, NZ.

John Davies 1821-1902 and his wife Amelia Ann 1826-1917 are buried in the Dovedale Cemetery in Tasman, NZ. He was a labourer and they had 11 children. Her maiden name was Newth and she was from Wootton Bassett. I knew their grandson Lee Win Davies who died 1986 - he married my grandmother's cousin (Ida Sole) from Taranaki and their is a child of his still living.
