Hi there
My grandfather was Gordon Webb Hazeldine, from Westport, New Zealand. I'm not sure of his birthday, but he died in 1974 in Christchurck, New Zealand. I can't find anything about him!Any ideas?

Thank you. Can you help me to start looking further into my family history? I really have no idea what websites are useful or how to go about it!

hi nicky,

if you read through this journal New Zealand Regional Archives you will find hundreds of very useful sites for every district in New Zealand, especially those at the bottom of page, eg 'Birth, Deaths, Marriages' - 'Papers Past' - 'Immigrant Ships to New Zealand'
#13 ... West Coast has a cemetery database link for Westport & surrounding districts. There are 20 Hazeldine listed there buried in Orowaiti & Waimangaroa and 3 at Hokitika
