- married Robert Leslie ABSOLUM 1884 in Ellerslie, Auckland
- they had 9 children in Otahuhu, 2 sons & 7 daughters 1885 - 1905

3. Huxtable, Catherine Emma (Emma Kate) (1873 - 1945)
- married John Norman McLEOD 1898 in Te Arolha, Coromandel
- they had 9 children, 4 sons & 5 daughters

4. Huxtable, Fanny Jewell (1870 - 1949)
- married Will Bennett CORIN 1895
- they had 2 known children, William Huxtable Corin & Fanny Jewell Corin. William died in 1917
- fanny married Robert St GEORGE (1873-1946) in 1919 in Mt Eden, Auckland

5. Huxtable, John Reed (1868 - 1896)
- born in Devonport, Plymouth
- died aged 27 in Auckland the day after being thrown from his horse "Fauntleroy" in a steeple-chase at Potters paddock Epson. He rode "Spade Guinea" to victory in the 1886 New Zealand Cup and "Lochiel" as the winner in 1887

- died in Otahuhu, Auckland
