The information I have indicates that John Fogarty came to Newfoundland from County Tipperary,
Ireland in the 1800's. He married Bridget Lonergan (Lundrigan)and they had at least 2 daughters Mary Ann DOB May 13 1887 (my paternal Grandmother)and Ellen Nora DOB June 11 1890.

John was at one point Chauffeur to Nfld Prime Minister Wm Whiteway

Mary Ann married James Joseph Walsh and they had 2 Sons John Mary (Mar 7, 1914 - Dec 22, 1969) and James Valentine (Feb 11,1926 - Sep 6 2006)my father and 2 Daughters Stella (Apr 1913 - Jun 1969) and Norah died at age 20/21 of TB.
