I discovered when my mum died in 2006 that my father is the late Glenn Henry MOSS who came from Mariposa CA, he met my late mother Tamar GARRARD when he was stationed here in the UK, when he was in the USAF in 1943.
His parents, my grand parents were John and Emma also from Mariposa, both born in Colorado, Glenn and his father worked for a while in Mariposa in the Gold Mines, John's father was Henry J Moss born 1883 in Illinois his wife Susan E Carter was born in Iowa. Emma's maiden name was MOSS, her first child was Irma born in 1909, my father was born in 1912 and the third child Helen who later married a Buel Coleman was born in 1920 and died in 1939.
