The Southern "Temples" lines via VA>NC>SC & GA

Journal by RobertTemples

I have spent some 15 years researching my Temples and related lines. It is well documented that the Temple's arrived in VA 1663 with William Temple and family members. They established what was called Prince George County. Generations spread to NC until the Revolutionary War broke out. I am verified to a Frederick Temples c. 1730 that was killed at Buford's Defeat near Waxhaw, May 29, 1780 by the British troops. His three known son migrated to Jefferson County, GA by 1791 & Early County, GA by 1819. Two moved back to Edgefield, SC in 1815.

Our data base list some 40,000 individuals under apprx. 450-500 surnames. On many we have attached images of old photos, documents, grave markers, and related records. Much of what we document is soured where information where available. We enjoy sharing with those who are sharing thier research.
