According to census information Thomas was born in Alabama and Emma was born in Virginia.
They had at least one son-Charles Everett Edwards b. July 1, 1884 in Birmingham, Alabama d. July 21, 1962 in Richmond, Virginia. He married Esther Lottie Parker b. February 12, 1896 d. December 17, 1977. Charles and Esther were married on July 18, 1914 in Virginia. I found Thomas and Emma listed on his marriage information. I know Emma's maiden name is McGee because it was listed on a piece of information regarding Charles.
