Ethel next married Mr Abbott (possibly Leonard Hector Abbott 1903-1987) but more research, or family help, needed on that.

Daisy died 4 Jan 1994 and her ashes scattered Waikumete Cemetery

Hi Desire Thomas was born in England 22nd Dec 1900
He was a ships fireman and so traveled a lot.
On 11 July 1945 he was fined 3 shillings for obsine language and was discribed as 5'5" with a dark complection, light brown hair and blue eye and of medium build. He had tattos 8 pointed star and sailing ship on the back of his right hand and womans face and a heart on the back of his left hand.
Ethel and Thomas were divorced 5th July 1960 at the Family Court Wellington.
