Try and get a copy of Birth/Death/Wedding Certs, they host information that can aid your research. Also you mention a place in your post Deniliquin, have you tried searching 'Google' to see if any bits of info has been listed.....worth a try.....Good Luck, with your research, its not an easy task, but in time you will see that its very rewarding. cheers Summer

Yes. I've already done that but Rosa is not listed on any death indexes in Australia. I have checked a number of sites as I am a research librarian so I only post for help when I have exhausted all avenues. Thanks for the message

Rosa OWEN was my Gt Grandmother's older sister. I have no idea why her death is not on the Index, but she definitely died at Gt Grandmother's home: "Heatherlie", Ararat on 20 July 1930 and is buried in Ararat Cemetery (Victoria, AUS). She was of course a widow by then and was living with her sister Emily and her husband Francis FANECO.

It would seem that her son Thomas Longton TYRER isn't on the death index either! I do know he had one son - Ian Douglas (1928 - 1951) and one daughter whose name I have never known.
