I have a Morton line, Bellaire County Ohio. My information on them is
Thomas Morton Born 1854 in Ohio. Son of William T. Morton and Eva Anne Frye
Brother of Sarah J. Morton, Jesse Morton, Lavinia Morton, Margaret Morton, Daniel T. Morton, William Morton, Michael Morton, Mary A. Morton and James H. Morton

William's middle name is Thomas. Are any of these names in your line?

I don't think so.

What I currently have is:
Thomas Morton born calc 10 Dec 1796 in Pennsylvania, died 02 Feb 1849 in Knox Co, Ohio
Wife: Mary Sarah Dillon born 25 Dec 1799 in Pennsylvania, died 9 Sept 1851 in Knox Co, Ohio
Married 8 Sept 1831 in the Presbyterian Church in Martinsburg, Knox, Ohio
Child: John S Morton born 9 Oct 1832 in Knox Co, Ohio
Child: James W Morton born 13 Apr 1834 in Ohio
Child: Marjery D Morton born 21 Mar 1836
Child: Thomas Dillen Morton born 14 Feb 1838 in Knox Co, Ohio {my line}
Child: Robert R. Morton born 11 Jun 1842 in Knox Co, Ohio
Child: unknown - Thomas D's obit lists parents and says he is one of 6 children.

History of Morrow County Ohio in 1880 says parents and that he was orphaned at a young age.

I have son Thomas D's estate papers and guardianship paper (which doesn't list parents and only lists who gets him).

Still working on trying to find his parents. Good luck with your search.
