ACCIDENTAL DEATH -On Monday last Mr L Markham, district coroner, held an inquest on the body of Andrew Watt, aged 10 years, at the residence of Mr. Thomas Watt, father of deceased on the Armidale Creek. It appeared, from the evidence, that the deceased, accompanied by a brother and a sister younger than himself, had gone to a tree in which there was a bird's nest, about half a mile from his parents' house, and that he climbed up to the nest, in attempting to come down, however, he fell, and was so severely injured as to remain unconscious. Doctors Spasshatt and West attended, and after a consultation they agreed there was no hope of recovery Deceased died soon after 11 on tho night of the day when he was injured.
The jury returned a verdict that deceased had been accidentally killed by falling from a tree (Deceased was the same boy who a short time ago was providentially rescued when lost in the bush, and on the point of entering the rough country at the Falls, where, in all probability, he must have perished.)

Elizabeth Agnew was born approx 1827 in Armagh Ireland, married 1847 Sydney Scots Church. She was 20 years old when married and states 49 years in NSW on her death cert. Saying goes her father died young and she was unable to read or write. She died Walcha 1893 and parents stated as unknown. Buried at Big Hill Walcha. Her occupation on her marriage cert was domestic, and there is no mention of her husband on her death certificate. There is no info regarding Thomas's death. he is not buried in Walcha and there is no police records. Alexander Smail and Mrs Violet Smail of Sydney were witnesses on their marriage cert, but they are not related. Alexander was used a lot to witness marriages at that time.
Andrew Watt on birth cert parents are Thomas and Jane. Jane was Elizabeth's second name. A story of a little boy lost in the woods rings some memories with older relatives. And the age fits in well into the family.
The immigration details looks very possible as well.
