Question by MamaBear

My family tree has about 1,000 people in it, that I have varying amounts of info on, and goes back 400 years on my paternal side, and over 200 years on my maternal side. How do I post all that so that it will be helpful to others looking for information?

You could post it up somewhere like http://www.wikitree.com/ or http://www.werelate.org/wiki/Main_Page then you could work cooperatively with other people let others use the information as a basis for more work. I like wikitree best as it has a community it just depends on what style you like.
