Hi there,

I'm a descendant of the 'Noarlunga' Mudge's and am keen to find out if you have any info that can confirm the connection with Dr John Mudge (1720-1781) as wikisource indicates his eldest son John died at 15 years of age (second to last line talks about Sir Joshua Reynolds giving him a portrait of his eldest son John for his 37th birthday) - http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Mudge,_John_(DNB00). While it is possible that with 20 children he had another named John, the dates I have don't seem to fit this theory. Cheers Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth,
Thank you for your question.
My line is the other John Mudge and I have no additional data for you at this time. If you can shed some light I would be grateful.
Cheers,
Marlin
