TYRRELL of Upminster Essex

Journal by debbietyrrell

Hi there,
I have some info - cencus and certificates, but have come to a halt,
I am looking for info on parents of William Tyrrell born 1/2/1841 (was registered as Turrell) as mother seemed illiterate at time. but on all other records spelt correctly. Father was William Henry Tyrrell and mother Ann formerly Carter. They married in Bow Middx 15/9/1839, why they were in Bow, at that time, I don't lnow, as they seem to be from Upminster area,
Can anyone help. William Henry's father was William and Ann's father David.
many thanks for any help.
Debbie.

P.s. I am in Greenwich area And can maybe help obtaining information relating to that district.

Hi there
Thank you for your response and information,

I have these cencus records and they appear to be correct his mother died in 1849. she is buried in Upminster, but there is no death record for her. I am going to visit church in a few weeks. But in London and some other places in 1849 was a cholera outbreak, so many people were just buried, and is quite possible she is one of those, who were never registered.
It is William Tyrrell senior and Ann who's birth details I am looking for, and get back on Tyrrell line as far as possible.
Thanks for any help
best regards
Debbie
